Manthoka Waterfalls (Skardu)

Manthoka Waterfalls is located in the village of Manthokha Kharmang in Skardu, a part of Gilgit-Baltistan, which is the northernmost territory of Pakistan. 

Manthoka Waterfalls is very beautiful and a high waterfall. It has a height of about 180 feet. The waterfall looks eye-catching and famous for its picturesque and spectacular landscape. The place is awesome and ideal for camping and fishing.

Manthoka village is about 40km away from Skardu city. It can be accessed from Skardu. Heading towards Manthokha Waterfall one has to follow the Kargil-Skardu road from Skardu city. While moving to Manthokha the following village comes in the way on Kargil-Skardu road: Hussainabad, Thorgo, Parkutta, Ghasing and Manthokha.

 A stream running downstream falls into the Indus River at Manthokha village. On the east side of this stream is Madhupur, a raod Manthoka-Madhupur road lead to Manthokha Waterfall.

SUPER HIGHWAY (M-9)

The Super Highway (M-9) connects the cities of Hyderabad and Karachi in the Sindh province of Pakistani. It is a 136-km long 4-lane highway and is a part of Pakistan’s National Highway Networks.

The Super Highway begins north of Karachi at the end of Mohammad Ali Jinnah Road, near junction of Karachi Northern Bypass (also known as M10). It is connected with the Karachi Northern Bypass with a trumpet interchange. Then it continues out of the city. From there it continues on a north-east track and forms a junction with the N5 via a link road. The highway ends outside of Hyderabad, in the suburban town of Kotri with a cloverleaf interchange where it merges into the N5. N-5 is Pakistan's longest and the most important national highway. It passes through Punjab, Sindh and the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP).

New Fruit & Vegetable Market (Subzi Mandi) is just off the road on the side of Road going towards Hyderabad. Baqai Medical University is situated off the road just before Toll plaza.

There are many residential projects on both sides of highway, among them is one of a famous Gulshan-e-Maymar township situated off the road on lane going toward Hyderabad. Saadi Garden is on main super highway after ranger head quarter.

The Famous Graveyard Wadi-e-Hussain is on the side of road coming towards Karachi before toll plaza. Rangers Head Quarter is situated just after toll plaza on side of road.

There are many service areas and petrol pumps as a part of the motorway on both sides of road proving services to heavy and light vehicles

Many Restaurants are also located at Super Highway Karachi, providing out class ambiance and tasty food. These restaurants are very good for families. Parties are being held here. Play area is also available for children. Restaurant specializes in BBQ dishes and Pakistani cuisine. The atmosphere is great as it is away from Karachi noise and pollution.

Most of the part of highway is barren, deserted with wild shrubs and sand, but new developments of various commercial projects can be seen on way of journey.
